Mr. Argoti has been serving the Diocese of San Bernardino since 2008. In 2013, he graduated from Saint John’s School of Theology~Seminary, cum laude, with a Master of Arts degree in liturgical music where he studied voice, organ, choral conducting and Gregorian chant. Mr. Argoti is originally from Burbank and his home parish is St. Finbar where he and his sister attended school and where he first began serving in ministry. He has given presentations on Gregorian chant, Advent/Christmas, Lent/Easter and music and liturgy throughout the diocese of San Bernardino, Las Vegas and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, both in English and Spanish. He currently serves as the coordinator of prayer, music and liturgy for the regional summer conferences on Hispanic ministerial formation sponsored by Loyola Marymount Universary. Previous positions have included serving as Director of Parish Music Ministries at Santa Rosa de Lima in San Fernando, Ministry Assistant at St. Benedict in Avon, Minnesota, Director of Liturgy and Ministries at Incarnation in Glendale, Director of Music at St. Joseph in Upland and he is currently the music director for the Office of Continuing Formation of Priests for the Diocese of San Bernardino. Along with his duties at the Diocese of San Bernardino, he also sings in the Diocesan Choir of Orange, serves as the liturgical musician for the California Conference of Bishops annual retreat at the Cardinal Manning House of Prayer in Los Angeles and coordinates liturgies for the annual Los Angeles Religious Education Congress in Anaheim. Recently Argoti served as music director for Diocesan Encuentro for the Diocese of San Bernardino, the Archdiocesan Encuentro of Los Angeles and participated as one of the musician for the Regional Encuentro in Visalia. Mr. Argoti is married to his beautiful wife Nadia and they share a home with their five year old mini-pincher/terrier mix named Maximus (Latin for “The Greatest”).
