Pope Saint John Paul II described the Mass as "the Source and Summit" of our Catholic faith.
Celebrating the Eucharist is central to our faith - in worship and in daily life. For it is "through Him, with Him, and in Him" that we find nourishment to continue Christ's mission to build God's Kingdom by loving and serving one another.
Mass belongs to all of us. Every member of the assembly is called to "full, active participation in the liturgy". We gather as One Body. With one voice, we speak and sing God's praises. We open our ears to God's Word. We process to His altar. We consume His Body and Blood. We kneel in adoration and supplication. We pray with and for each other. We share our financial resources for the benefit of our community, the care of the poor, and to build Christ's kingdom on earth.
Many are needed to help create prayerful communal worship. Will you help?
