It is with great joy we share with you the theme for our new pastoral year. The theme is a way for us to stay focused amidst the many activities and responsibilities we all have. This year’s theme is “Be Transformed”. Transformed lives begin with the gospel message of Christ, for in it is the power of God. It is the gospel that brings us salvation. Through the gospel message of Christ, we learn “to put off your old self, which belongs to your former manner of life and is corrupt through deceitful desires, and to be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to put on the new self, created after the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness” (Ephesians 4:22-24).We need transformation. We cannot stay the same. We cannot always do same things the way we always have despite how comfortable it may be or feel. Disciples are sent out to new places and peoples, despite personal weaknesses and shortcomings, only to trust in the promise of Jesus, I will be with you always.
 

Con gran alegría compartimos con ustedes el tema de nuestro nuevo año pastoral. El tema es una forma de mantenernos enfocados en medio de las muchas actividades y responsabilidades que todos tenemos. El lema de este año es “Sé transformado”. Las vidas transformadas comienzan con el mensaje del evangelio de Cristo, porque en él está el poder de Dios. Es el evangelio el que nos trae la salvación. A través del mensaje evangélico de Cristo, aprendemos a “despojaros del viejo hombre, que pertenece a vuestra antigua manera de vivir y está corrompido por los deseos engañosos, y a renovaros en el espíritu de vuestra mente, y a revestiros del nuevo hombre. , creados a la semejanza de Dios en la justicia y santidad de la verdad” (Efesios 4:22-24). Necesitamos transformación. No podemos quedarnos igual. No siempre podemos hacer las mismas cosas de la forma en que siempre lo hemos hecho a pesar de lo cómodo que sea o se sienta. Los discípulos son enviados a nuevos lugares y pueblos, a pesar de las debilidades y carencias personales, solo para confiar en la promesa de Jesús, yo estaré siempre con ustedes.
