Welcome! We are so happy you are ready to complete the Sacraments of Initiation by pursuing Confirmation. We offer a 12-week hybrid course  (online work) that prepares you to receive the Sacrament in Spring 2022. You may complete this course by participating in either our Fall (September through November) or Winter (January through March) session. Register for whichever session works best for your schedule. The classes do fill up quickly, so register early. Here's a guideline for getting started:

1. Register for the course either online or by completing the hard copy of the registration form and returning it to our parish office on Olive Ave.
2. Read and follow the instructions sent to you via email.
3. Complete the first class. (If you do not complete the first class, you may be dropped to make room for those on waiting lists). 
4. Gather copies of your birth, Baptism and First Communion certificates and submit them to the instructor by the first class.
5. If you are already registered in another parish community or out of state, we need permission from your pastor to complete your sacraments with us. Please complete the Parish Permission form and have your parish sign and seal it. Once completed, please return it to The Holy Name of Jesus parish office.

Confirmation is one of the 3 Sacraments of Initiation in the Catholic Church... the other two are Baptism and Holy Eucharist. All three create the foundation of every Christian life. 

We believe that the faithful are born anew by Baptism, strengthened by Confirmation, and nourished with the Eucharist (Holy Communion).
